<description>actually, having been through quite a few tornados in Texas, and quite a few hurricanes in Louisianna and Mississippi.. Hurricanes are far worse becuase they bring tornados with them. and since they come from over the water, they also bring water spouts with them. and tidal surges. the cars will stay put, but they might be under 8 feet of water...
so, Hurricanes are, by far, worse than tornados.
as for the East Coast..
I love watching the Discovery Channel and NASA channel.. there was a special on not too long ago about the effects of Water, Tidal Waves, and Tsunami&#039;s.. there is an island just off the north/eastern coast of Africa that is severely volcanic, and half of the eastern side of the island has shifted off it&#039;s base. they estimate another 3 to 4 volcanic eruptions before half the island slides into the Atlantic Ocean and sends a tidal wave more than 3 miles high crashing down across the entire east coast, and spreading more than 12 miles inland...
so, they&#039;ll get theres....
peace.
